During this, I often only realize during the physical run-through whether my planned choreography creates the desired tension. A 15-minute rehearsal often prevents hours of corrections during expensive takes – especially with A-list actors commanding daily rates of €200,000 and up. At the same time, through systematic blocking, I can maximize the number of setups per location, thus optimizing rental costs for expensive locations.
