Rosco's 1/4 Color Temperature Orange filter for subtle tungsten warming of daylight sources.

Definition

Rosco 3106 is Rosco's version of the 1/4 CTO (Color Temperature Orange) filter. This is one of the most commonly used filters in film production.

Technical Specifications

  • Color Temperature Shift: approx. 300-400K towards warm
  • Transmission: 85-88%
  • Light Absorption: approx. 0.3 stops
  • Material: Polyester gel or alternative substrates
  • Heat Resistance: Limited to approx. 200°C
  • UV Stability: Standard, not ideal for outdoor storage
