The DZOFILM Vespid Prime series is a collection of high-quality cine prime lenses, specifically developed for professional film and television productions. These prime lenses cover Full Frame and the larger Vista Vision format, offering a consistent T2.1 aperture. The Vespid Prime lenses are characterized by their warm, organic image quality, blending a subtle vintage look with modern optical standards.
The series currently includes six focal lengths (20mm, 25mm, 35mm, 50mm, 75mm, 100mm) and is available with both PL and LPL (Large Positive Lock) mounts. A notable feature is the uniform 77mm front filter thread across all focal lengths, significantly streamlining on-set workflows.
Practical Application
The Vespid Prime lenses are particularly well-suited for narrative productions, commercials, and high-end documentaries where a characterful, cinematic visual language is desired. Their compact design and low weight make them ideal for handheld, gimbal, and Steadicam work.
